EIGHT BITTEN
/
The first time Tyson Dixon picked up a video game controller, he tried to eat it. At least that's the story his mother tells whenever someone in the media asks her to share some of her earliest recollections of the "Video Game Guru". Tyson of course, doesn't remember eating the controller. After all, he was just shy of his third birthday. As the story goes, Nathan, the oldest Dixon child was babysitting Tyson and playing Battle of Zartron. Nathan went to answer the phone. When he returned, his controller had become an electronic chew toy. Tyson had gnawed halfway through the long black wire, his face scrunched like he was ripping off a piece of taffy.
The joke now of course is that maybe there was something in that wiring that gave Tyson Dixon the seemingly super human powers he possessed.
